A delegation from the Agriculture and Rural Affairs Committee of the National People’s Congress (NPC) of the People’s Republic of China, headed by the Committee’s Deputy Chairman H.E. Duan Chunhua, paid an official visit to Solomon Islands from 12th to 15th December, 2023.

During the visit, H.E. Duan and his colleagues paid courtesy calls on Hon. Prime Minister Manasseh Sogavare, H.E. Speaker of Parliament Patterson Oti, and Hon. Leader of Opposition Mathew Wale, and held fruitful discussions with Hon. Jeremiah Manele, Minister of Foreign Affairs and External Trades, and Hon. Duddley Kopu, Minister of Rural Development on promoting China-SI legislature, agriculture and rural development cooperation.
