The Embassy of the People's Republic of China holds Photo Exhibition to celebrate the centenary birthday of the Communist Party of China

On June 30th, 2021, the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Solomon Islands launched the opening ceremony of the photo exhibition celebrating the 100th anniversary of founding of the Communist Party of China (CPC). Among distinguished guests are Hon. Prime Minister Manasseh Sogavare, Hon. Deputy Prime Minister Manasseh Maelanga, and dozens of cabinet Ministers and Members of Parliament.

 

 

In his opening remarks, Ambassador Li Ming laid out the trajectory of CPC in uniting and leading the Chinese people to build an independent and prosperous Chinese nation, and shared perspective and thoughts on CPC and China. Ambassador Li said, the code of CPC’s success rests on its stable leadership and its perennial heart to pursue happiness for the Chinese people and great rejuvenation for the Chinese nation, and its commitment to the right path of Socialism with Chinese Characteristics.

 

 

Ambassador Li also reviewed the achievements made after the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Solomon Islands, and pointed out that the 1.4 billion Chinese people are now embarking on a journey to build a modern socialist country in all aspects. China’s development will bring more opportunities for Solomon Islands. Embracing China means embracing opportunities. And CPC is committed to further exchanges and cooperation with OUR Party and DCGA government. This is in the interests of our peoples and will also contribute to peace, stability and prosperity of our region.

 

 

Hon. Prime Minister Sogavare extended warm congratulations on the 100 years anniversary of CPC on behalf of the DCGA government, Our Party and the people of Solomon Islands, and said the 100 years anniversary is a key milestone in the CPC’s unrelentless great struggle course and achievements for the Chinese people and society. Hon. Prime Minister reiterated that Solomon Islands, DCGA Government and Our Party honor the One-China Principle, and Taiwan is an in-alienable part of the People’s Republic of China. Solomon Islands will adhere to the One-China Principle and no amount of pressure or influence, whether locally or foreign, will deter or sway Solomon Islands away from this noble principle and bold stand.

 

 

Hon. Prime Minister said that Solomon Islands acknowledged China’s achievements in tackling poverty and contributions to global peace and security. Solomon Islands is keen to work with China to build a world that is fair and just, a world based on Multilateralism, a world that promotes free trade, and a community with shared future for mankind.

 

The photo exhibition includes hundreds of photos for centennial history of CPC, which presents a wonderful panorama of CPC’s achievements in revolution, socialist construction, and reform and opening-up stages in the past 100 years.
